We continually scan the internet for the best prices for our products, however should you find the same product at a cheaper price then give us a call or chat with a live sales assistant, tell us where you have seen it , and we'll try our very best to match the price.
Price match applies to UK Companies selling the identical product including VAT and delivery charges.
We recommend that you print and keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.
1. These Terms and Conditions
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions made on this site whether you are ordering online or by telephone. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
1.2 Goods purchased in store at SOUND TECHNOLOGY prices and offers using our "buy in store" service are subject to our online terms and conditions but exclude the distance selling regulations (See also Term 6.3).
1.3 Please read this document carefully and print it off before placing your order. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions – the Terms published on this website at the time you place your order will apply – you should read them each time you shop with us.
2. Customer Orders
2.1 We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 All prices and charges on this site and instore are in UK pounds. They include any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges and any installation or connection charges.
2.3 The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order, the applicable delivery charge (if any), plus any additional services you choose e.g. installation. All these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.
2.4 Prices, offers and products published on this website are subject to availability and may change before, but not after, we accept your order. If something becomes unavailable we may offer you a suitable alternative.
2.5 Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been dispatched, or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you in-person or by telephone or e-mail).
2.6 Prices, delivery charges and other services offered on this webshttp://www.sound-technology are exclusive to our online customers and are valid only for orders placed online or over the phone – Different prices, terms, charges for services, availability, delivery times and return policies apply to purchases made in one of our stores.
2.7 From time to time the prices displayed on our website may be different if you are directed to it from a third party website. Purchases at these prices can only be made on our website and by arriving on it through a relevant third party website; these prices will not be available in-store or over the telephone.
2.8 We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo and Electron. You may also pay by cheque or cash although delivery or collection cannot take place until payment has been cleared.
2.9 When purchasing goods online, you will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you click the “Go to payment” button.
2.10 After you submit an order we will give you an Order Reference Number and details of the products you have ordered. We will send the same details to you in an email acknowledging receipt of your order (Order Acknowledgement). This is just to let you know that we have received your order and one of our agents will be processing it. It does not mean that we have accepted your order - Acceptance of your order will take place when we despatch the goods ordered to you. We may decline all or part of your order for any reason before despatch, in which case we will contact you by email or by phone to tell you so.
2.11 When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from our Identity Verification partners. In particular, we may pass your details for them to check against certain public and private databases. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.
3. Product Availability and Website Accuracy
3.1 All Orders placed www.sound-technology.co.uk are subject to stock availability. In some instances, orders will be placed directly with the Manufacturers or Suppliers and will be subject to their availability. Not all stock published on this website is available for purchase at our stores. Some products offered for sale on this website are not carried in stock by us – these are available as special orders from our suppliers and may take up to 28 days for delivery.
3.2 If goods are unavailable for immediate delivery, we will contact you by email or phone to inform you of expected delivery times. You will have the option either to wait for the goods ordered or replace them with alternative goods or cancel your order.
3.3 Images of products on www.sound-technology.co.uk are for illustrative purposes only. Your goods may differ slightly from the image shown and may not include all the accessories shown in the picture unless stated specifically in the specification of the goods.
3.4 Our intention is that all product specifications, images, descriptions and other information communicated by us should be as accurate and up-to-date as possible. However, occasionally an error may occur (e.g the price or description of a product you have ordered) – in such cases, we have the right to cancel the order at any time before we dispatch the goods (even if you have received your order confirmation email). We will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to re-submit your order at the correct price, select alternative products or offer you a full refund.
3.5 All colours/finishes in product images shown are for illustration purposes only, and may vary from the real product due to the reproduction limitations of photography, and the limitations of viewing images at web site resolutions.
4. Delivery and Installation
4.1 All prices are exclusive of delivery charges. A charge is made for the delivery of goods. With orders online on www.sound-technology.co.uk , the applicable standard delivery charge is shown in your shopping basket. There are additional charges if you choose a premium delivery service, or if you opt to have your product installed or other services. You will always be able to see all applicable charges before submitting your order.
4.2 All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses. Morning, Saturday and next working day deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. We reserve the right to additional delivery surcharges to remote areas including offshore and highland addresses. We will notify you of these charges by phone or email upon receipt of your order.
4.3 Delivery times are calculated in working dates, i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive but excluding bank holidays. If you order after 3.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day (including if you are offered our next working day delivery service).
4.4 We will agree with you a suitable delivery day, which will usually be within 2 - 7 working days for stocked product lines and within 28 working days for special orders. Delivery times may vary during busy periods and from time to time we may utilize the delivery service of the manufacturer/supplier or a courier specially contracted for the delivery of your goods. We will endeavor to deliver all orders within 28 days from order.
4.5 Delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
4.6 If you are unable to accept delivery on the day we have agreed, please notify us as soon as possible and at least 24 hours ahead of the planned delivery day. If you do not notify us within this time and we were unable to deliver the goods to your home on the day that we agreed and scheduled, we reserve the right to charge a second delivery fee.
4.7 Smaller products are generally delivered either by courier or by post. If your product is one which is delivered by courier, you may be given the option of choosing a premium delivery service for a small extra charge during the order process.
4.8 Cookers, fridge/freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, plasma TVs, some large screen TVs and similar items are generally delivered by our own or a third party 2-man delivery service. Estimated delivery for 2-man deliveries is between 5 – 7 working days subject to the delivery post-code and stock availability. Our 2-man delivery covers delivery to a ground floor location with no access restrictions – call us for a quote for delivery if the appliance is to be delivered where there are access restrictions or the appliance is to be delivered on a non ground floor location.
4.9 We will notify you which delivery method we will use when we send you the Order Confirmation email. Very occasionally different products with the same delivery method may be delivered separately.
4.10 All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives, the courier will leave a card with a contact number for you to call and re-book your delivery.
4.11 If your item is being delivered by Royal Mail you will be unable to track the delivery but should expect your order in the post within the next few days after your order is placed.
4.12 You should examine your goods as soon as reasonably practicable during and after delivery to check for any damage or missing items or parts. When the goods are delivered, you will be presented with a delivery note which will require you to authorize by signature that:
(a) The goods have been unpacked, checked and received in good condition; or
(b) The goods have been left in the packaging, are unchecked and that there is no visible damage to the outer packaging; or
(c) The goods are damaged, incorrect or there is shortage.
4.13 If a signature has been obtained under clauses 4.12 (a) or 4.12(b) above, you are deemed responsible for the goods and as such any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk and expense thereafter.
4.14 If a signature has been obtained under clause 4.12(c) above, you must provide details on the delivery note and notify us within 24 hours; you will then be diverted to the relevant division who may arrange for the goods to be returned and/or exchanged; however, if goods are returned under this clause and are subsequently found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of delivery (where applicable) will be charged to you.
4.15 In the unlikely event of any accidental damage being caused to your property by our delivery team, you must inform the delivery team and make a note of it on the delivery note and notify us by phone or email within 24 hours from delivery.
4.16 All orders requiring installation are subject to charges and availability. Please check prices and availability prior to placing your order.
4.17 Installation/Connection is not available for our online customers as standard, however you may be offered it as part of the order process (depending on your address) when we contact you . It is subject to additional costs and terms and conditions which you must accept before you order. The service includes:
- Your product unpacked and checked.
- Product positioned and set up for you. Your old appliance must be disconnected before we arrive.
- Safe and secure connection to existing supplies.
- Our connection/installation charges are in addition to any delivery charge/s.
4.18 Your old appliance should be safely disconnected prior to our arrival. Gas and dual fuel cookers must be disconnected by a Gas Safe registered engineer and mains wired electric cookers should only be disconnected by an electrically competent person.
5. Recycling & Removal of old Appliances
5.1 Recycling & Removal of your old appliance is not available to order online, however we may offer it to you upon receipt of your product order for a small fee. This is subject to availability and your post-code area.
5.2 If scrap collection is available you will be offered it as part of the order process. IMPORTANT: Your old appliance must be empty. Fridges and freezers must be fully defrosted. Your old appliance should be safely disconnected prior to our arrival.
6. Click and Collect and Store Collections
6.1 Where stated, orders placed online or over the phone can be collected from one of our retail stores, subject to that stores participation and stock availability.
6.2 Once you have been notified that goods are ready for collection, they must be collected within 7 days.
6.3 Orders collected from or items purchased from one of our stores are exempt from the “Distance Selling Regulations”. Normal in-store terms and conditions of sale apply to all such transactions.
7. Cancellations and Returns
7.1 If you are not totally satisfied with your goods for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days from date of delivery for credit or refund provided that you return the goods as sold in pristine condition in their original packaging with all components and accessories. Goods must be complete, unused, and in ‘as new’ condition; for example, if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in anyway and must be repackaged as received.
7.2 You must notify us in writing (by email, fax or letter) of your intention to return the goods within 7 working days from the date of delivery.
7.3 You will be responsible for the safe return of the goods including any carriage and delivery costs. Should you wish to use our services to collect the goods, you will be charged the actual cost of collecting – this in most instances will be more than you paid for the delivery as we normally subsidise our delivery charges. Please contact us to find out what this charge will be. This charge will be deducted from any refund due to you.
7.4 Should you exercise your wish to cancel the order under this clause, you will need to return the goods back to us within 14 days from delivery. Goods received back after 14 days from delivery will be returned back to you and the actual cost of the return charged to you prior to their return. We reserve the right to dispose of the returned items to recover our costs should you fail to pay the return charges within 30 days of us notifying you.
7.5 When we receive the returned goods, we will inspect them to ensure that they are in pristine and new condition and in their original box and packaging. If goods received are not in their original packaging or you have not taken reasonable care of the goods, we shall charge you a fee equivalent to the reduction in their value (minimum 20% of the original price paid). If the returned goods have missing manuals, accessories, free items or any other components, we will charge you the cost of those missing items. These costs will be deducted from any refund that is due to you. We reserve the right to return goods back to you if they are not in a new and pristine condition or are damaged in any way including the box and packaging – under these circumstances you will be charged the actual cost of collection and the return delivery cost. You will be notified of this by email, phone or letter. These costs will be payable prior to the return of the goods. We reserve the right to dispose of the returned items to recover our costs should you fail to pay the return charges within 30 days of us notifying you.
7.6 Where you cancel your order, we will refund the money due to you within 30 days from the date of cancellation.
7.7 You have the right to cancel your order before we have dispatched it to you for a full refund. Should you cancel your order once goods have been dispatched for delivery, then you will be liable for the actual cost of the return of the goods back to us. This will be deducted from the refund due to you.
7.8 For goods bought in-store or purchased using our click and collect service or call and collect service, you can cancel the order within 14 days of purchase subject to a minimum 15% handling fee which will be deducted from your refund or credit along with any other associated delivery or collection charges. Goods must be unopened, unused and in pristine “as new” condition in their original box and packaging. Further charges will apply if goods are deemed not to be in a pristine “as new” condition or have missing accessories, remotes, manuals and any other components. You will be unable to cancel your order for goods specifically ordered for you from our suppliers.
7.9 We are unable to accept the return of the following goods:
(a) Television stands, pre-recorded videotapes, DVDs, CDs, Minidisks, games, software, and any personal hygiene products which have been opened from their original packaging;
(b) Goods specially ordered to the customer’s specification;
(c) Goods with contract services that have been connected, e.g. mobile phones.
(d) Goods purchased or collected in-store which have been specifically ordered for you from our suppliers.
8. Faulty Goods
8.1 All goods supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturer’s guarantee for a minimum period of 12 months. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.
8.2 If you suspect that your goods have developed a fault, first check that the problem is not something like a blown fuse or a disconnected cable. Check the manufacturer’s manual, specifically the fault finding/troubleshooting section to see whether you can resolve the problem yourself. Also locate the manufacturer’s helpline number and call to find out if the manufacturer has its own repair procedure.
8.3 If your goods are faulty and covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, please refer to the “faults” section of our website for details of how to make your claim.
8.4 An engineer may be called to visit you to repair, collect for repair or arrange for an exchange of a faulty item under warranty. This will be free unless the engineer cannot find a fault with the goods, in which case you will be liable for the costs of the call-out (typically £50 + Vat). Goods returned to us under warranty will also be subject to a “no fault found” charge to cover the costs of an inspection by an engineer if they are subsequently found to be “not faulty”. All under warranty requests are booked subject to this clause.
8.5 In certain instances we may offer you the option of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault. To qualify for a refund or exchange the product must be:
(a) In otherwise in ‘as new’ condition:
(b) Complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it; and
(c) Complete, if possible, with the original box and packaging.
8.6 Items sold on this website and in our stores are generally intended for normal domestic and consumer use and not for resale or commercial use.
8.7 Our returns and repair policies do not affect your statutory rights.
9.1 We and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website.
9.2 You may only use the material contained on this website for your own personal and non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
9.3 You may not create any link to this website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
9.4 The website may contain links to other websites unrelated to us. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these websites.
10. Data Protection
10.1 Your privacy is important to us. We will always comply with the Data Protection Act.
10.2 We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information. Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to see any data that we hold about you.
11.1 These terms and conditions, and all transactions relating to this website and all non-contractual obligations arising from any transaction carried out on this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
11.2 Sometimes, there may be things that are beyond our control that mean that we may be delayed in or prevented from delivering your goods. These might include accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, snow, acts of God, war, riot, civil commotion or malicious damage. In such instances, we cannot be held responsible for the delay or failure of the delivery of your goods.
11.3 These terms and Conditions sets out everything we’ve agreed about your transaction including delivery of your goods and supercedes any previous agreement we might have discussed or entered in relation to the transaction.
11.4 This contract is between Power EC Limited and you the customer. Accordingly, nobody else has any rights under this contract to enforce the terms of this contract.

Click & Collect is available on selected products from our main store. Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie will email you when your order is ready for collection. Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie will hold your order for 8 days. If your order is not collected within this time your order will be refunded by Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie. Please be aware that a restocking fee of £10.00 will apply.
When collecting your order from our main store you must bring a form of identification with you; the payment card used for the order or a current photographic drivers license or passport. Without a form of ID we are unable to release your order.

Placement and processing of orders
If you wish to buy product(s) through this site then you should follow the procedure specified in this site.
After placing an order, and once payment has been authorised, you will receive a sales confirmation via email acknowledging that your order has been received by Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie.
Acceptance of your order will be made which confirms that the product(s) you have ordered are available for delivery.
The contract between you and Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie will only be formed when a sale confirmation is sent to you and payment has been received.
Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie will confirm that your chosen product will be delivered on certain date and request that this is acceptable.
If you wish to cancel your order, this will need to be done by 12pm the working day prior to your delivery date (Mon-Fri), or delivery will be made. Any returns after this time will be liable for a collection charge.
You will be informed as soon as possible if for any reason product(s) ordered by you are not available for supply. Where you have already paid for the product(s), you will then be issued with a full refund or an alternative product.
If you are ordering product(s) as a consumer you may cancel the contract at any time within a fourteen working day "cooling-off" period, beginning on the day after the day you receive the product(s) (the required post contractual information will be supplied in an email confirming your delivery).
To cancel a Contract, you must inform Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie. You will then be contacted to agree a method for returning the product(s). Product(s) must be returned in the same condition in which you received them. If you return product(s) in person or send them they will be at your risk until they are received by us. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the product(s) while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. We may also charge you a reasonable sum as reimbursement for any missing items such as leads or remote controls.If you need to return product(s) because you are a consumer and have cancelled the contract within the fourteen working day cooling-off period, you will be responsible for the cost of returning product(s) to us or, where applicable, of us collecting them from you.
Upon receipt of the product, we will refund the price of the product(s) in full, including any initial delivery charges, less the cost(s) we incur in collecting the product, and replacing any missing item(s) or accessories. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within thirty days of the day we take receipt of the product(s).
If you are returning product(s) that are faulty, you will not be responsible for any collection costs. You will need to contact Sound Technology Euronics Aberdeen Inverurie and we will initially look at resolving the issue. If this is not an issue that we can resolve, and the product is less than 28 days old, then the product can be returned, at our cost, and you will receive a full refund. However, if any accessories are missing, the cost of these will be deducted from your refund.
Details of this statutory right, and an explanation of how to exercise it, are also provided in the sale confirmation. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.
The price of any product(s) will be as quoted on this site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. These prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs and any other additional services you may have opted for e.g installation, old product disposal etc.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that are the subject of a sale confirmation.

Prices will normally be verified as part of the dispatch procedures so that, where the correct price is less than the stated price, you will be charged the lower amount.
